Pediatric RN Clinical Nurse Manager-RN-Full Time

Bridgewater Pediatrics is an award- winning, general pediatric group practice, affiliated with Boston Children's' Hospital. Our provider staff includes three pediatricians, six nurse practitioners, two behavioral health clinicians, a lactation consultant, and a nutritionist. General Description: We are seeking a Pediatric RN Clinical Nurse Manager.  The Clinical Nurse Manager will lead and support our dynamic nursing and medical assistant team.  He/She will manage the daily clinical operations including patient and employee safety; employee staffing and orientation; maintain a dynamic and collaborative relationship with supervisor, RNs, LPNs, medical assistants and pediatric providers; ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory laws, ACO care requirements, and demonstrate excellence in service standards; supervise and serve as a professional role model for RN, LPN and medical assistants. The candidate should be mature and passionate about providing direct patient centered care.  Engage in various professional development and educational trainings to enhance their ability to provide effective, efficient, and quality care.   

The professional in this role will maintain the standards and scope of nursing practice; provide support and direction to staff to ensure practice efficiency and the delivery of quality care.  Act as an advocate and conduit for communication to all nursing staff including medical assistants.  Promote the profession of nursing practice through mentoring, professional development, and interactive collaboration with other disciplines.

Identify opportunities to enhance patient safety, patient satisfaction, and service excellence.  Vaccine Management including supply and demand balances. Experience with quality improvement analyses and implementation is desirable.  Collaborate with the leadership team and participates in Pediatric Physician Organization Learning Communities.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.

Licensure to practice the profession of nursing as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

PALS certification is desirable

Exemplary leadership and management skills

Minimum of 6 years demonstrated clinical experience and skills in direct pediatric nursing.
